Create an advertising campaign on Twitter is as simple as what we want to ‘promote’. The application messaging in 140 characters has improved its services ‘Ads’ and now allows you to create your advertising campaign based on objective , depending on whether you want to increase followers, or get visitors on our website, interactions tweet, facilities apps or even collect emails from potential customers of our company and / or brand.
I teach in a few steps how easy it is to do it . First, you log into your Twitter account (if the company in question). Once opened our profile on Twitter, go to the address ‘Ads’ Twitter (https: // ads . Twitter . com /) and we will open this page we show in picture:
Once in it, we will put the country in which the campaign is by definition we will mark a time zone , but we must find the one that suits us. Once done, it would be given the lower button ‘Save configuration permanently this’ and we will get the screen below :
In this screen select the goal of the campaign . Is where we choose ‘Interactions Tweet’ , so that our tweets reach more people and conversations are generated; ‘Clicks on the web or conversions site’ when we want to allow users to get to our website, ‘Installations apps or interactions with apps ‘, so that our applications are installed or interact with them, ‘ Followers’ , to grow our community on Twitter; or ‘Potential Customers on Twitter’ to collect emails from people who might be potential customers.
Imagine that what we want is that our community grow followers . By checking this option, we get this screen that explains how will our ‘ad’ and what it represents.
We’ll give ‘Select and Continue’ (top right), and once we clicked will this another screen:
Once here, we give a name to the campaign in which we identify our target. For example, ‘Increase Community’. We will have to choose the time of the campaign dates . It can be set from run immediately and ‘continuous’ (could be cut whenever we wanted) or specific campaigns directly with a start date and a final (control the total budget from the outset).
The next step is to ‘Creativity’. As seen in the later image, you must either select tweets already created that we want to promote or directly compose new advertising we serve .
Once elected, what / s save as / s for the record of what our choice. And then choose the segmentation of the audience you want to go run . Select the primary location, such as: Spain. We can also select the genre to which we want to go run and even select other selection criteria as keywords on interest.
And finally, will the budget we want to give to the campaign. By default, Twitter marks us at least a day, which is being paid, as well as the maximum that the other companies are making. To stay calmer we can make a maximum budget for the campaign as seen in the image below.
After the election of all the objectives and characteristics, we give saving campaign and on the next screen, fill bank data that cover the same and finally, just have to check the option ‘Launch Campaign’ ; with which it will be implemented in a timely and budget offered dates.
Easy, right? Then the Twitter application itself will offer the same statistics so you can evaluate whether or not effective advertising campaign regarding the objectives.
